I will offer bookkeeping services to online retailers. I’m looking for a business name, tagline, and logo. The challenge (and this, btw, is an excellent overview/brief format): Here is the business need all original BW members are welcome to post their responses and advice, AND any other branding bloggers who wish to post some input on their blogs can also participate (see below for details). Nonetheless, the BW concept is a valuable one, and we’ve remained open to taking on the occasional challenge.Īnd so, now we have one, via a contact of Martin Jelsema (one of the original BrandingWire posse members). Originally, the BrandingWire posse took on one branding challenge per month, but we found that our readership was not expanding into the realms we hoped for, and that a clear business purpose wasn’t being fulfilled. For those of you not familiar with BrandingWire, it’s a joint venture of a number of bloggers, commenting on various branding challenges presented to us by our “studio audience.”

however it has been shown many times that household finances are controlled most of the time by women.BrandingWire has been quiescent for a while.
I guess we are still a very conservative culture in that aspect. I have noticed that personal finance websites by man get tons of readers. but in general I would say my blog is about how our family incorporates living frugally and shopping smart TO THRIVE on one income. I also like to share money saving offers with my readers. At the beginning of the year I committed myself to using coupons and tracking how much I save this year by using coupons along. So that leaves me with out household expenses. My talk about debt is minimal because we don't have any credit card debt. Our approach to investment is passive, so you won't see me talking about that very much because we are confident on where we are investing our money. I approach personal finance as it impacts our household. I personally consider my blog a money management blog. Thank you so much for mentioning my blog. All we need is to start doing what we do best - talk to and support each other. But the talent level is definitely there. OK, maybe we're not as visible as our male counterparts. That is unfortunate because I know there are a lot of great women personal finance bloggers out there. Many people walked away from that meet-up thinking that women do not care about personal finance. However, other than a couple of Wise Bread writers, no personal finance bloggers attended the shindig. The meet-up was packed with industry players like BlogHer's business editor Elana Centor (who was a terrific host), Allese Thomson from Wesabe, and PR folks from Edelman. The conference planners had the same idea and had set aside a room for a personal finance meet-up.
With over a thousand women bloggers attending the conference, I expected to run into quite a few personal finance bloggers. I was recently invited by BlogHer to speak on the Blog Monetization Panel at their San Francisco conference.
